first attempt?!?!? very nice man, damn you illustration people.
i would sharpen the eyes more, some art center illustration prof. said that the first read on a face is the eyes and everything beyond that on the face gets naturally blurry.
the airbrushy hair is also a little too blurry especially near the bottom, check this out:
Actually yeah I tried to soften the eyes more, might have done it too much. The character person at work took a look when it was halfway done and said that the eyes were too sharp haha gotta find that happy medium.
I'll try out that hair tutorial though. Hey, we should get a collection of those (the very best tutorials going on here and archive and arrange them). We should even maybe save the pages (and not just links) so we have them in the future too.

i always find weird tutorials and then lose them later. should we just do a PS post and add onto it as we find more.
